Hello all! Another great day! Weather was a bit warmer today so we were able to bring Layla out for a walk. Notice how she is dressed for 60 degree weather and it was about 80 here today! Layers, layers and more layers! She had winter tights on under her heavy sweat pants along with pink socks over the top of the tights! We did take her green jacket off when we were in the playroom and were surprised that she actually only had a short sleeve shirt on underneath her jacket today! Normally, you get many more layers with long sleeves! A different caretaker was in Layla's group today whom we absolutely loved! I will have to get her name! She just returned from vacation so today was the first day we met her! She is wonderful with all the children! She told Aimara who told us exactly what she was eating today. She also told us that Layla doesn't like meat! We were surprised to hear that because she typically will eat whatever they give her. This lady was nice and didn't put so much meat in her potatoes. She also told us that Layla does take a pacifier at times....which we didn't know. We just really liked this lady and she asked what we were going to call her and called her Layla the rest of the time! The other caretakers still call her Kamilla so it gets confusing at times. We will even slip and call her Kamilla sometimes because she does recognizes that name. She still is battling the chapping of the face! It will look really good one day and the next day it is all back. We continue to put neosporin on it, but I think Dr. Alicia Hughes needs to perscribe a better cream.....maybe one of Jager's 10 creams that he has at home????? Talked to Kalista and Jager a bit ago, all seems to be going well! We miss them so give them lots of hugs and kisses from us!!!!!!! Count down mode........see you in 11 days!!!!!!
Love,
Thomas and Amy
