It's hard to believe that last year at this time, Thomas and I were just arriving in Kazakhstan! We had spent this week-end in Astana before flying out to Semey where we fell in love with Layla Kamilla, whom now is with her forever family and will always be remembered in ours.

What a year this has been! We talk often that it seems like our life did a complete nose dive ever since Kazakhstan and we are still waiting for it to stop. Maybe this next week will be the week? We should hear at any moment when the next batch of referrals will be released along with a possible job offer for my dh! I am optimistic and excited for our "next season" in life, knowing that once again, big changes are ahead for us!
